International Youth Entrepreneurship Contest Start Strong 3+3 has concluded and winners have received the Grand Prix trip to Seattle, Washington. This is the third year when Seattle is chosen as a host for the Start Strong 3+3 Youth Entrepreneurship Camp. This summer contest winners come from Riga, Jelgava, Dobele, Siauliai and Madona. In the US they will have a chance not only to visit the University of Washington but also meet with local entrepreneurs, visit start ups, NGOs and charity organizations as well as participate in training led by the best business gurus from the university.

This year’s contest was very tough. During the school year several hundred students from two countries participated in various masterclases led by Start Strong trainers. Students also worked on various social projects improving the life of local communities, they filmed videos, created student companies and sold various products. After that they went through a three-day marathon of panel interviews, presentations and meetings with potential investors. The main topics for this year’s contestst were “Career development”, “Entrepreneurship” and “Relationship building”.
